"Fortes fortuna aduvat"

Greetings:

Fortes fortuna aduvat is a Latin proverb that translates, fortune favors the brave. Being that today is St. Patrick's Day, I thought this quote was apropos. I interpreted this proverb to mean that luck comes to those who go after it. The luckiest of people are actually those that are willing to create their own fortunes by challenging themselves to go beyond their own fears and perceived limitations.

You can be lucky if you are willing to be brave. Bravery is the key factor in luck because it creates possibility. If you are not brave enough to go after what you want it is guaranteed that you won't get it. But if you are brave enough there is a chance that you will get what you go after.

Don't let fear hold you back from your fortune. Be brave and dare to go after whatever it is you desire. It is challenging and dangerous to go after what you want because you face rejection and disappointment. Just because you are brave and go for it doesn't necessarily mean you will get it. It does mean that you will at least have a chance, so be brave. You never know what kind of luck you will create and what good fortune will be bestowed on you when you are brave enough to go after what you want.

Here's to being lucky,

Rachelle
