Forgiveness is part of being Prosperous

Greetings:

I posted the first two of the Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity that Edwene Gaines wrote about in her book. The first two laws were Tithing and Goal Setting. The third law is Forgiveness. Again this isn't something I expected in a book about Prosperity however when I think about it Forgiveness makes sense. As long as you are hanging on to the past you can be open to the present or the future.

Forgiveness is essential not just for prosperity but for living a happy life. As long as you are holding on to old hurts, resentments or anger you are not fully living in the present. Some people get really defensive when Forgiveness comes up because they think that forgiveness someone lets the other person off the hook. No, it has nothing to do with the other person and it actually lets YOU off the hook. You are the one suffering because you won't forgive. When you forgive someone it doesn't make them right or make what they did right, it simply releases you. Edwene says that not forgiving someone is like stabbing yourself and expecting the other person to feel the pain. It isn't going to happen. Before you can truly be free and open to full abundance and prosperity you have to forgive.

And don't forget to forgive the most important person of all, you. Forgive yourself of all the mistakes you have ever made. This is a powerful and important step in living a full abundant life.
