Gratitude lets keep it going

Greetings:

Last week every ezine I recieved had an article about gratitude in it. Being that last week was Thanksgiving in the US many people were thinking about being Thankful for what they have. This is a very good thing. However it isn't limited to one day or even one week out of the year. Gratitude is a powerful concept that can make a big difference in your life all year long.

In the book, "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace Wattles, he dedicates a chapter to the concept of gratitude and weaves this premise throughout the book. According to Wattles, "The law of gratitude is the natural principle that action and reaction are always equal and in opposite directions. The grateful outreaching of your mind in thankful praise to the Supreme Power is a liberation of expenditure of force; it cannot fail to reach that to which it is addressed. And as a result, God responds with an instantaneous movement toward you." In other words the more you show gratitude for what you have the more you get.

There are various degrees of gratitude. The first is when we get something we want and we are grateful. The second is we don't get what we want but we are grateful anyway. Example, you don't get the promotion but you decide to be grateful for having a job. The third and most powerful degree of gratitude is to just be grateful. Make gratitude a way of life and a part of who you are.

Here's to taking action

Rachelle
