Morning the Death of my Fish Beta

Greetings:

Today has a sad tone to it. My fish Beta died. I found him floating on the bottom of his bowl when I went to feed him. I haven't had Beta very long, a few months, but I really liked him. He was also part of my Feng Shui and I am thinking a dead fish isn't such good Feng Shui.

I am feeling bad because I cleaned his bowl yesterday and I am thinking I must have done something wrong. Maybe the water was too cold when I put him back in. I have noticed he wasn't eating much for the last couple of days. I just feel bad that he died.

The coaching lesson in this is it is okay to feel bad. Things happen in life and emotions are normal. Some people might say, "It was just a fish." And true he was but I cared for him. He meant something to me. Therefore I have a right to feel sad and no one has to understand that but me.

When something happens in your life take the time to feel the emotions. When you allow yourself to feel you are teaching yourself to create a deeper connection to your emotions and feelings. The deeper you can feel sadness the deeper you can feel happiness.

Here's to taking action

Rachelle
