Greetings:
Halloween is just a couple days away. There are lots of ways to celebrate Halloween that don't include eating tons of sugar and dressing in a strange costume.
First, the candy thing. My trick is to treat myself to healthy snacks and buy candy that I don't like for the trick-or-treaters. That way I am not tempted and I still get to enjoy the fun of handing out candy.
Invite people over for dinner on Halloween. Keep it simple by serving pumpkin soup and perhaps caramel apples for dessert. Easy and fun.
For additional party and food ideas check out the Food Network website. It is packed with ideas for goolish treats.
Costumes are fun. You could use this opportunity to dress up as you see yourself five years from now. Perhaps an entrepreneur, the President of your company or something else that has meaning to you. That could even be the theme of your dinner party, have everyone come dressed as they see themselves in five years.
Have a fun and safe Halloween.
Here's to taking action
Rachelle
