DNC Hits Denver

Greetings:

To be honest I haven't been much into the Democratic Convention although I have heard a lot about what is going on with it. That is mostly because I am in Denver and I have friends that are way into it. However I must say I got hooked the opening night when Ted Kennedy spoke. Whatever you think about his politics it was amazing to see this man get up and give an amazing speech with a brain tumor. He says he will be on the floor in January voting to make change. I sure hope he is right.

I also watched Michelle Obama's speech. Wow she was amazing. And of course the children stole the show.

I think it doesn't matter what party you are with it pays to at least have some idea what is going on. It certainly couldn't hurt in making a more informed decision.

When Christen and I went to the KKZN 760 AM Studio last week to record Live the Day with Rachelle and Christen, we were greeted by two of the conventions attendees. They were made out of cardboard however we got a big kick out of them being in the studio. My guess is this is as close as I am going to get to either of them, at least for awhile, so I was thrilled to have my picture snapped.

Enjoy the convention either live or as I will be doing, on television. Soon the Republicans will have their turn.

Here's to taking action
Rachelle
