You have to buy a ticket

Greetings:

One of my favorite quotes comes from Ally McBeal, "You can't win the raffle if you don't buy the ticket." In other words you have to take action. Without action nothing much is going to happen.

One of the readers from 365 Days of Coaching sent me this little story.

"There is a very poor man that for years prayed to God that he would win the lottery. After years and years of no luck, he finally beseeches God as to why he hadn't won the lottery. God replied, "My precious child, I would love to bless you with winning the lottery, but you have to buy a ticket first."

You see all that we want is out there for us to have if only we will take the action to get it. I know the concept of Attraction is very popular, but Attraction is only the first step. Notice that the word "action" is in the word Attraction. Once you do what you need to do to open up the possibilities and attract what you want in your life you then have to take action. You might attract the best opportunities of all time into your life, but if you don't do anything about them nothing is going to happen. They will slip away.

Yes you have to be able to think about what you want. If you can conceive it you can receive it. However once you have a clear mental picture of what you want you must follow that inspired guidance to do what you need to do to bring it into your life.
