Reasons to Celebrate in June

Greetings:

The first of the month I always like to see what special reasons there are to celebrate in the month. Not that I need a special reason, I just like to have an extra reason to celebrate just in case I need it.

National Drive Safe Month - this is a great month and since I just paid a speeding ticket I will be celebrating this one all month long!



Zoo and Aquarium Month: Sponsored by American Zoo and Aquarium Association. (I will be celebrating this special month with the newest member of our family, Betta Two, a beautiful Blue Male Betta fish.)

Don't Give Up the Ship - June 1st is Don't Give Up The Ship Day in honor of Captain James Lawrence of the U.S. frigate Chesapeake. His dying words were, "Tell the men to fire faster and not to give up the ship; fight her till she sinks!"
