No Hocus-Pocus Just Focus Focus

Greetings:
It would be great if we could wave a magic wand and change anything and everything in our lives that we wanted too. Unfortunately, change doesn't happen by using magic. Although it can be magical when change happens, it takes more that hocus-pocus. It takes focus, focus.
What you focus on expands. If you want to create change, you have to focus on the outcome. The distinction here is important. Often people focus on what they don't want. Instead it would be more powerful to focus on the change you want to create and then move towards that change. According to Bill Harris the Founder of CenterPointe Research Institute, "When you focus on anything, your mind says: "Okay, we can do that," and starts figuring out how to do it. It doesn't ask whether you're focusing on it because you want it or because you do not want it. It ALWAYS assumes you want what you focus on and then it goes and makes it happen. The more frequent and the more intense the focus, the faster and more completely you will create what you focus on, which is why intense negative experiences create intense focus on what you do not want, and tend to make you recreate what you don't want, over and over."
The great news is you don't have to learn how to focus. You already know how, and do it everyday. The shift is to focus on what you want and begin to create that in your life. So instead of focusing on not having enough money, focus on how you can afford what you do want. Instead of focusing on being overweight, focus on being healthy and active. Shift your focus to the end result. Keep your eye on the target and keep moving in that direction. Focus is a powerful thing. All you have to do is look around at your life and know that. You have always got what you focused on.
Whatever you focus on, you get. It isn't magic, but it can be magical. Manifesting what you want doesn't require a magic wand or any hocus pocus, just the commitment to change and a focus on creating what you most want in your life.
This week notice what you are focusing on and then notice what is showing up in your life. Hmmmm, I bet there is a connection.
Here's to taking Action,
Rachelle
