I met a Leprechaun

Today is ST. Patrick's Day and I was very lucky because I met a Leprechaun! His name was Branden, which didn't seem very Irish to me, and he was very nice for a Leprechaun! Cute too! He was even giving away gold coins but I knew if I took one it would turn to dust as soon as he walked away (well not actually because Branden's coins were chocolate and he wasn't a real Leprechaun) but that is what the folklore on Leprechauns' said would happen.

You might be wondering where in the world I met a Leprechaun, and actually was able to get close to him without having a trap. Alyson Stanfield (artbizcoach) and I were at Whole Foods today. Alyson is going to be doing a Blog tour for her new book "I'd Rather be in the Studio" in April and she will be appearing on Take Action April 14! (Just wanted to get a little plug in there for her). Anyway we were at Whole Foods and that is where we met the Leprechaun.

We also were lucky enough to hear and see bagpipes being played. I learned something new today because I thought bagpipes were Scottish and that is only half true. "There are two main types of bagpipes, The Irish (Uillean or Elbow) and the Scottish (Great Highland or Small Border)." So now we know!

I certainly hope you are having a lucky day (which means of course you are creating your own luck) and perhaps even get a chance to meet a Leprechaun!

Wasn't this fun?! And I'm so glad to hear that bagpipes are Irish, too. Glad you solved that mystery for me. :)
