Balloon Fiesta

Greetings:

For the third year in a row my husband and I went down to Albuquerque, New Mexico and attended the Balloon Fiesta. It is amazing seeing hundreds of balloons take off. It isn't all that amazing getting up at 3:30am to be on the field by 5:30am to see dawn patrol take off at 5:45am and of course at sunrise watch the rest of the balloons ascend. Naps were a must and we did indulge in one every day.

We also visited with friends and enjoyed the warm weather. We always stay at a delightful little Bed and Breakfast, Cinnamon Mornings, where the owners Sue and Dick are great host. Sue fixes an amazing breakfast and I am happy to report I didn't miss one of them this year.

As promised I am sharing a few pictures from the Fiesta. If you have never been it is worth at least going once.
