Purple Cauliflower

Greetings:

Well the adventure continues as I try new things that are as close as the grocery produce department. This week my new adventure was Purple Cauliflower. Since purple is one of my top five colors, I just had to try it. The truth is I am not a big Cauliflower eater but the color lured me in. I found that it was milder than regular Cauliflower and it was fun eating a purple food. The research I did said that the color will cook out of the Cauliflower and one site said that the Purple Cauliflower will turn green when cooked. I steamed my Cauliflower and it retained the Purple color. If anything cooking it made the color more vibrant and deep.

Remember there is a new adventure waiting for you right around the corner at your local grocery store. It makes trying something new pretty easy and very tasty.
