Everyone has a reason for being here. Our calling in life
goes beyond what we do, what our friends and family think
we should do, or even what society thinks we should do.
Our calling is that thing in life that beckons us to be
our best. When we are living our calling, we will know it
by the way it makes us feel inside.
Our calling goes beyond a job description. Many people
have the same job description, but each person has a different
calling. Your calling may relate to what you do for a living.
If it does, that is wonderful. If not, that is fine also.
Our calling is much bigger than what we do. It has to do
with who we are and what difference we are here to make.
We might think of a calling as something grand or prestigious.
When we think of people who have had public callings, we
might think of Mother Teresa or Gandhi. Our calling does
not have to be the elimination of world hunger to have a
powerful impact on the world. Maybe your calling is to be
the best parent, friend, teacher, or mentor possible. A
calling is personal and only you will know when you are
fulfilling it.
Coaching
Discovering your calling is one of the most powerful things
a person can do. Once we understand why we are here on earth,
we can begin to understand who we truly are. Discovering
our calling can take time. It is a process of discovering
deep inside what brings us the most joy. It is a personal
process and no one can tell you what your calling is. It
is something that you alone must uncover.
Coaching

"Do what you feel in your heart to be right, for you'll
be criticized anyway. You'll be damned if you do and damned
if you don't." Eleanor Roosevelt
"I do not want to die...until I have faithfully made
the most of my talent and cultivated the seed that was placed
in me until the last small twig has grown." Kathe Kollwitz
"If you're able to be yourself, then you have no competition.
All you have to do is get closer and closer to that essence."
