One Size Fits All

=============================================
One size fits all. Not true. Nothing works for everyone.
The great thing about human beings is that we all have unique
qualities and no two of us are exactly the same. Everyone
is different and differences add the variety that makes
life interesting. Differences can also be what create conflict.
Sometimes other people can feel uncomfortable or even threatened
by those who are perceived to be different. What makes someone
different does not have any reflection on us. It does not
test our values or beliefs; it is about the other person
and not about us. When we have a negative reaction to someone
who is different, it usually means that our beliefs and
values feel threatened or at least challenged. The important
thing to remember is that what others do doesn't have anything
to do or say about us and that diversity in nature as well
as in human nature is what sustains life.
Coaching
When we can move away from differences as being viewed
as good or bad we can begin to see people in a more neutral
light. We can move away from having to judge what they are
doing to simply accepting the differences. It does not mean
we have to agree with what they are doing. It simply means
we don't have to judge them and make them right or wrong.
It is so freeing when we can get to the place where we realize
that one size does not fit all and everyone has the right
to self express however is best for them.

Question
Are you free to be yourself?
Do you allow others the same freedom?
Challenge
Take a close look at where you are judging other people
and begin to see how things might be different if you decided
not to judge, but simply to accept the differences of others.
How might your life be different?
