=============================================
In the movie "Field of Dreams," there is a scene
where two of the main characters are fighting and one says
something about rules and the other ones says, "Rules,
there are not rules here." Well that is true about
a balanced life also. There are no rules to what a balanced
life is, except for the ones you create for yourself. Living
a balanced life is about personal preference. What works
for one person may not work for another. Living by the rules
of someone else is not going to create balance; it will
actually throw you off balance because you will be living
someone else's concept of balance not yours.
Coaching
There are so many articles out there about how to live
a balanced life. When I start reading about the things I
am supposed to do to live a balanced life, I begin to feel
off balance. Ideas and opinions of others are great, but
no one knows what balance means in your life but you. Living
a balanced life is about finding out what that means to
you and then creating the balance that is best suited for
your life style.

Design your own balanced life. On a blank piece of paper,
write down your definition of a balanced life. Once you
have an idea of what a balanced life looks like, start making
the adjustments in your life necessary to create your own

to be the last day of my life would I be content with it?
To live in a harmonious balance of commitments and pleasures
