=============================================

Have you ever felt like Cinderella's stepsisters trying to fit into a shoe that doesn't fit? In the past, I have tried to be like someone else and every time I do, it feels like trying to wear a shoe that is too tight. And besides, why do we want to be like someone else anyway? Look at Cinderella. She ended up marrying someone who didn't have a name and didn't know her name. What kind of life is that?

Looking at someone's life from the outside can make her life look so much better than ours. The truth is that everyone has their struggles and troubles and if we really knew what went on in the lives of others, we would gladly keep our own.

Instead of trying to fit into someone else's shoe, just practice wearing your own. Concentrate on walking your own path and living the life that best fits you.

Coaching

The morale of the story is, "Just be you." If you want an "And they all lived happily ever after." you have to live your own life. Trying to be like someone else is never going to make you happy and in the end you will have missed out on a great opportunity, the opportunity to be you.

Does your life fit you?

Daily Success Formula

Being yourself = Fitting into your own glass slippers

Quotes

"Do you want to be a power in the world? Then be yourself." Ralph Waldo Trine

"It took me twenty years of studied self-restraint, aided by the natural decay of my faculties, to make myself dull enough to be accepted as a serious person by the British public." George Bernard Shaw

"In our society those who are in reality superior in intelligence can be accepted by their fellows only if they pretend they are not." Marya Mannes
