First
class is not just a seat - It is a way of life
Thanks to a friend who shared an upgrade pass with me,
I was able to fly first class to Australia. This was an
especially nice treat since I have never flown first class.
I was struck by the roominess of the seats, the fact that
I order my meals, and was even provided with a flannel bag
that has such luxuries as a toothbrush and toothpaste and
socks. Flying first class truly was.
I began to think that first class was simply more than
a seat; it was a way of life. I asked myself, "On the
airplane of life, where was I sitting?" I realized
that in life we also have the opportunity to go first class.
In life, how we treat ourselves, the quality of our relationships
and how much we allow ourselves to experience either create
a first class experience or not.
Coaching
Luckily in life we do not have to wait for someone else
to upgrade us, we can chose where we will sit on the airplane
of life. And in life flying first class isn't all about
money. It is about experience, our own attitude, and gratitude.
We can create our own first class experience.
Begin to think about what it would look like for you to
personally have a first class life. This will be different
for everybody. What is first class for one person might
not be for another. Whatever represents first class to you
is what you should create and know you deserve in your life.
That can include extreme self-care, strong supportive relationships
and a supportive environment. Whatever first class means
to you in your life, begin to make that happen. Not just
on special occasions, but everyday.
Are you flying first class in the airplane of life?
