At Least You have the Glass

I was having dinner with my friend Andi and we were discussing the concept of the glass being half full or half empty. Andi shared that she was just happy to have a glass. What a great perspective. Oftentimes, we look for what is missing or what we don't have instead of being thankful for what is. Perhaps the glass is half full, but at least we have the glass.

Often we miss the blessings in our life because we are too busy focusing on what is missing. Instead of focusing on what you do not have, be thankful for what you do have. Maybe the glass is not as full as you want it to be, but if you keep focusing on what you do not have, you will miss the joy of what you do have.

Are you thankful for your glass?

Daily Success Formula

Being thankful for what you have = Counting your blessings

"A man without ambition is dead. A man with ambition but no love is dead. A man with ambition and love for his blessings here on earth is ever so alive." Pearl Bailey

"It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them." Ralph Waldo Emerson

"There are no mistakes, no coincidences, all events are blessings given to us to learn from." Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
