Creating Positive Card Karma

=============================================

A writer, doing an article on karma, asked me to comment on if I thought people could create their own karma or if karma is simply something that happens to us. I most definitely believe that we have control over creating karma, both positive and negative. Everything we do sets into motion a positive or negative response. I think of karma as a boomerang. We throw it out there and we never know whom it might touch or where it might go, but we can be assured it will come back to us.

To illustrate my point, I told the writer about a situation I encountered when buying stationary at Mail Box, Etc. As the clerk bagged my purchases, I checked the receipt. I noticed that five cards I wanted were not rung up and the clerk had put them in my bag. When I brought this to his attention, he said, "Oh don't worry about it. Just keep them." I knew that keeping those cards without paying for them was not the right thing to do. I also understand the law of karma. Either I would pay then or pay later. I simply took the cards out of the bag and requested that the clerk ring them up and I told him, "I do not want any bad card karma." He looked at me like I had just got off a space ship, but I didn't care. He is not responsible for my karma.

If karma is too far out there for you, think of it this way. If you do good, good comes back, and if you do bad, bad comes back. It is the law of the universe and I see it happen time and time again. Whatever we send out into the world via our actions, our words, and even our thoughts, comes back to us. That is why it is so important that we are aware and conscious of what we are doing, saying, and thinking, because all of this creates the world we live in.

Coaching

Karma is simply about reaping what we sow. Whatever we put out into the universe comes back to us. The good news is we are the only ones that can control our own karma, and the bad news is we are the only ones that can control our own karma. We are held responsible for our actions.

The all important news here is that if we want to change our karma, all we have to do is change what we are putting out into the world. If we are not getting what we want, we need to look at what we sow. Change your actions and you will be surprised how your karma will change.

Daily Success Formula
