Obstacles Can Be
Opportunities In Disguise

=============================================
I
bet, if we all think about it, we can remember a time when
something seemed to be an obstacle that later turned out
to be an opportunity. Often, when something happens that
seems negative, it is difficult to see the bright side or
even think there can be one. What I have noticed about life
is that when one door closes another one opens. We just
have to be ready and willing to recognize and seize the
new opportunity.
Endings
are simply new beginnings. When something negative happens,
look for the gift hidden there. You will be more open to
the opportunities those obstacles present with that point
of view.
If
I hadn't been laid off from my corporate job, I would have
never discovered coaching and that I have an entrepreneurial
spirit. Although losing my job seemed like the worse thing
that could have happened, I realized later that it was the
best thing that could have happened. I turned what seemed
like an obstacle into an opportunity by staying open to
what life presented.
Coaching
When
life throws us an obstacle, we look for the opportunity.
If we can stay open and not get seized with fear, we often
can see that the obstacle is simply pointing us in a new
direction. Obstacles are the U-turns in life that help us
find a new path.
What
obstacle in your life can you turn into opportunity?

Quotes
"Don't
be afraid of opposition. Remember, a kite rises against,
not with the wind." Hamilton Mabie
"I
have learnt that success is to be measured not so much by
the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles
which he has overcome while trying to succeed." Booker
T. Washington
"Obstacles
are like wild animals. They are cowards but they will bluff
you if they can. If they see you are afraid of them they
are liable to spring upon you; but if you look them squarely
in the eye, they will slink out of sight." Orison Swett
Marden
