Will You Seize The Day
Or Let The Day Seize You?

=============================================
Ever have one of those days where it seemed
like the day took over and it ended before you could even
get started? If we allow it to, the day will just happen.
Time will slip away and we won't complete our tasks and
goals for the day.
The day does not seize us without our permission.
We lose control of the day if we do not take control of
our actions and ourselves. The way to prevent the day from
being seized is to seize the day mindfully and purposefully.
How do we seize the day? The first step
is to have a plan for the day. We don't have to plan out
every second. However, we do need to know the top two or
three priorities. If we can get more done, fine; but realistically
two or three priorities are all that are going to fit into
one day.
At the beginning of each day, take the first
10 minutes and plan your day. Create a plan and work your
plan. By doing this, you will create focus and be clear
on what it is you want to accomplish today. Then, when something
comes along that doesn't fit you have a choice. Being at
choice allows us to stay in control and still be flexible.
We can easily become overwhelmed when there is no plan.
Coaching
If you want to seize the day you must plan
on it. Don't just let the day happen. Take charge and create
a plan of action. Work your plan and stay on task. When
you know what it is you want to accomplish, it is easier
to stay on track.
The only way the day can seize you is if
you give it permission. If the day is slipping away from
you, it is because you are allowing it to do so. Stop it.
Take back your day and seize the opportunity to make it
what you want it to be.
Are you ready to seize the day?
Daily Success Formula
Take Control + Make a
Plan + Work the Plan = Seize the Day
