=============================================
People often ask for patience. I warn against
that. The only way to obtain patience is to have things
in our lives that require patience. Practicing patience
is what gives us the ability to have patience.
Instead of asking for patience, start practicing
now. Look for opportunities to use patience. Times like
waiting in line, dealing with a child, people at work, traffic,
and life can support us in developing our patience.
Don't be in a hurry to develop patience.
Having patience is an art and takes time. Practice is the
only way that will help us in the development of patience.
If you want patience, you must be willing
to do what it takes to develop it. Patience isn't something
that someone can give you. You must teach yourself patience.
It requires commitment and the willingness to practice every
moment.
Coaching
Patience is an acquired skill and it takes
time to develop. Many people say they wish they were more
patient, but they are not willing to do what it takes to
develop that talent. Patience is a talent. It takes time,
commitment, and willingness to be good at being patient.
Give yourself a break. Don't think that
you will become a patient person overnight. You will not.
You most likely will never be perfect at it. Don't shot
for perfection. Go for progress. Each time you practice
patience you get better. It takes time and it is a skill
that always needs to be improved.
How are you doing when it comes to patience?
Daily Success Formula
Patience = Practice +
Willingness
